Missed us at the Southern Manufacturing event this year? Have no fear, we will be back in two months for the next event on the calendar, the Mach Show.

Kanya UK will be appearing at the Mach Show at stand 6-724, in the UK Supply Chain area at the NEC in Birmingham.

This two-yearly event is the UK’s largest exhibition for the manufacturing industry, held over 5 days from the 20th -24th April 2020.

Kanya UK exhibited here for the first time in 2018, where we occupied a moderate stand.

This year, we’ve gone bigger and better, which has allowed us to bring even more product applications to our stand to demonstrate to you. We’ll be one of over 600 exhibitors here, connecting UK manufacturing engineers, decision-makers, buyers and specifiers with suppliers like Kanya UK.

What to expect

At our stand 6-724, we will be focusing on our workbench and workplace systems, suitable for manufacturing, packaging and assembly production lines.

An example of the ErgoPlace workbench, combined with mobile parts trolley and roller conveyor will be demonstrated alongside a further workbench, to create a production line effect at the stand.

Our focus is also on our new printing production line, where we can demonstrate that enclosures can be printed with logos, patterns and images to achieve a corporate look.

We will also have a range of ergonomic accessories for the manufacturing workplace. From monitor mounts, to tablet holders, lighting and tool holders, we can show you a whole host of examples, as well as the complete range from our Novus UK colleagues.

Meet the team

Our sales specialists Tony Ferreira and Steve Taylor will be available throughout the 5 day event to explain the advantages of using the Kanya profile system for industrial builds, as well as demonstrating our workplace systems.

The possibilities with the Kanya profile system don’t just stop at workbenches. The team can show examples of applications ranging from test rigs to enclosures and frameworks.

The stand

We’ll be able to show you our latest stand design, featuring the Kanya profile system as well as large format digital printing displays which clad the framework.

Kanya UK are pleased to be able to confirm their upcoming events in 2020.

The year will kick off with our attendance once again at the Southern Manufacturing Show, at Farnborough International from the 11th to the 13th February 2020. We will be taking stand K200 this year, and will be looking forward to demonstrating our range of ergonomic workbench designs and workflow efficiencies at the stand.

A regular “gig” of ours, we’ve been attending the show for some 12 years now, and it never fails to satisfy. In the early days, we attended with our aluminium stand, an example in itself, and over the years, we’ve transformed it by powdercoating in our corporate colours. Next year, we’re set for an even bigger improvement on the stand, demonstrating to you the possibilities that can be achieved for stand designs.

Looking back in the early days, a regular feature of ours was Goliath, an aluminium profile model. Goliath retired from exhibitions back in 2017, but he still graces us with his presence in our reception demo area back at our headquarters in Romsey.

The early days saw different sales specialists on the stand, who are still with the company today. Do you recognise any of them? Where are they now?

From 2017, our Kanya double-act,Tony Ferreira and Steve Taylor, above right, took visitors by storm with their welcoming attitude and passion for aluminium. The double-act will be returning for all our upcoming events in 2020, rest assured.

Our second confirmed event is Mach 2020. Held every two years, this is our second appearance. We’ll be occupying stand 6-724 from the 20th to the 24th April, hoping to meet new clients from the north of the country.

The last event attracted over 25,000 visitors with over 500 exhibitors in attendance from engineering-based manufacturing backgrounds. With a larger stand this year, using our own aluminium framework, we’re looking forward to bringing our workbench applications along to demonstrate.

Further details for both these events will be available towards the end of the year.

But for now, save the dates!

Kanya are excited to announce that they will be attending the Robotics and Automation Show 2018. Held at Milton Keynes from the 10-11th October, it is the companys’ first participation at this event.

Bringing with them to stand 624 will be an example of a robotic enclosure. Infact not just an example, but a real live project produced for clients Fanuc UK earlier in the year. It is a great example of how the Kanya aluminium profile system can be used to build enclosures for your equipment. Kanya UK provides a free design service, so you will be able to visualise your enclosure immediately, ensuring your equipment fits.

Our Kanya Product Specialists will be on hand to ask questions about the enclosure, demonstrate the qualities of the Kanya profile system and show examples of the many other applications possible.

We look forward to seeing you at stand 624 from the 10-11th October.

Last week, Kanya UK exhibited at the Mach Show, held at the NEC Birmingham. Being our first time exhibiting at this event, and at short notice, we took up the challenge, joining the other 600 companies exhibiting there. What a show it turned out to be! Here are our Mach Show 2018 Highlights.

Spread over 5 days, there was something for anyone interested in manufacturing. The event was reported to have been attended by over 25,000 visitors in the previous event in 2016, and visitor numbers were set to top that.

Some great publicity surrounded the event, as Ben Ainslie opened the exhibition. Another highlight was a feature on BBC Breakfast Business News. News correspondent Steph McGovern, a former engineering apprentice for Black & Decker, presented her slot live from the Education and Development Zone at the exhibition on day 2. One of the key features of MACH 2018 from previous years, was the Education and Development Zone. This attracted a stream of young people of both genders throughout the week, but especially on the Friday, which was the day designated to focus on careers.

For Kanya UK, we demonstrated our electric height adjustable workbench example at stand H30-838 and came armed with samples and accessories for our visitors to tinker with.

It was good to see some of our clients also exhibiting at the event. Fanuc, in particular, were demonstrating a robot enclosure, constructed using the Kanya aluminium build system (see photo below).

So thank you to all those who visited our stand last week. And if we haven’t got in touch with you yet, please bear with us, we will be!

Kanya UK are pleased to announce that they are to exhibit at Mach Exhibition 2018.

Held from the 9th – 13th April at the NEC in Birmingham, Kanya UK will be taking up stand H20-838 at the show.

The exhibition, held every two years, is the UK’s premier manufacturing technologies event, dealing specifically with engineering based manufacturing. As well as bringing together the best innovations and developments to come from UK manufacturing sectors, it is also a great chance to network with over 600 companies exhibiting there.

This will be Kanya UK’s first time exhibiting at this event, and the Kanya Sales Specialists are primed and ready to meet over 25,000 expected visitors to the show.

At the stand, H20-838, they will be demonstrating a large range of Kanya aluminium profiles and accessories, as well as the connector system which ensures the Kanya elements join together with ease. Some example applications will also be on display to illustrate the types of projects the Kanya application can be used for. A lab car example shows how test rigs can be built using the build system. This is a perfect illustration of an application, and relevant following last weeks’ publicity surrounding Riversimple’s hydrogen fuel cell car which Kanya UK provided test rigs for.

Also on display will be an example of a workbench which is electrically height adjustable and can be customised to suit the workflow required.

The Kanya Product Specialists will be available throughout the 5 day event to offer advice on your application and the services that Kanya UK can provide.

See us at stand H20-838. For more information about the event, please visit the Mach Exhibition website

Kanya UK are pleased to announce that the electric height adjustable workbench returns once more on demonstration…

The workbench, along with other application examples, as well as our Kanya Product Sales Specialists, will be exhibiting at next months’ Southern Manufacturing Show.

For Kanya UK, this must be our 13th appearance at the event, remembering the original venue at Thorpe Park, before it moved locations to Farnborough. However, this year is a landmark year for the show, which Kanya UK are excited to be part of. Not only is it’s 20th anniversary, but a brand new purpose built hall at Farnborough will be it’s new home.

The Southern Manufacturing Show remains to be the place to meet some of Europe’s top engineering specialists. As in the case of Kanya UK, it is the ideal opportunity to showcase the aluminium assembly system and illustrate with examples what can be achieved. The height adjustable workbench, which was launched at last Septembers’ Northern Manufacturing Show, will be demonstrated, accessorised with a number of handy space-saving solutions for your workflow. In addition, a test rig example; a lab car assembly can be seen as well as a selection of the range themselves. Get to grips yourself with the system and you will find an easy to use, clever connecting solution, which will help you build frames with ease.

Our Kanya Product Specialists will be on hand to offer advice on your intended application, and with our award-winning free design service, your project can be realised.

Look out for our Kanya-built stand, Stand A205 at the Southern Manufacturing Show from the 6th to the 8th February 2018.

Last week, the Kanya team were busy preparing for next weeks’ Northern Manufacturing Show at Event City in Manchester. With our plans and preparations in full swing, we saw the coming together of our stand as we took delivery of and assembled our new electric height adjustable workbench demonstration model.

The workbench is a typical example of how we can create ergonomic workbenches to suit your particular application, as each workbench is custom designed. The workbench we will be demonstrating has two shelving units to hold storage bins etc. lighting and the all-important electric height adjustment for sit/stand working. The Klink toolboard is attached as well as a selection of Novus mounts for your monitors, tablets, laptops and documents. But this is just one specific application, the possibilities for workbench configurations are endless, with storage drawers, compartments, task lighting and equipment mounts to suit.

As specialists in ergonomic furniture design, Kanya UK provides a free consultation and design service. We consider the needs of your staff, the techniques, tools and the equipment they are using to undertake each task so that their workspace avoids repetitive strain injuries, neck pains, backaches, blurry vision and poor posture. The height adjustable feature ensures that the employee has control over their own workspace, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

Try out the workbench for yourself at Stand D62 on the 27th and 28th September, and talk to our specialists about the possibilities for your ergonomic workstation.

Kanya UK are delighted to announce that they will be exhibiting once again at Northern Manufacturing 2017 next month. Held at Event City, Manchester from the 27th to the 28th September, you’ll find Kanya UK at stand D62.

This year, we will be focusing on applications which are continuing to prove popular amongst our regular clients. A height adjustable workbench application example will be on display, to be populated with accessories from Kanya as well as the Novus ergonomic monitor and tablet mount range.

Also on the stand, an example of a lab car is being demonstrated. Our aluminium build system is perfect for test rig assemblies, and whilst a smaller version is being demonstrated, the possibilities are recognised.

The complete profile range will be displayed on our “extrusion wall” with sample t-pieces to handle in order to demonstrate the ease of connectivity.

And last but by all means, not least, our Kanya specialists, Tony and Steve, will be available throughout the event to discuss your ideas and give advice on the many solutions that the Kanya aluminium profile system can provide.

Register for the event, and we look forward to seeing you there and showing you our latest products and applications at stand D62.

It may be being held a month later now, but Kanya UK make a welcome return to Southern Manufacturing this year. Find us at stand L38 from the 21st to 23rd March.

This year, the focus is on the brand new products and resources that have been launched by Kanya over the last few months. Late last year, we saw the arrival of the brand new product line, the 45mm aluminium profile range.  Kanya UK will be bringing samples of the range to the show, and included within their extrusion wall which is demonstrated as part of the stand. You will also find this range available on our website shortly.

Also on display as well as the stand itself, Kanya UK will be bringing a range of applications to demonstrate the versatility of the build system. A lab car provides a typical test rig example, a machine guard using the TS Guard modular guarding system and a display cabinet will give visitors just a few ideas from the endless possibilities.

And of course, the event would not be complete without meeting our Kanya UK team. Tony and Steve will be available throughout the event to discuss your ideas and give advice on solutions possible. And not forgetting the third member of the team…

Whilst he can demonstrate the many possibilities offered by the Kanya build system, he doesn’t have much to say so why not get a selfie with our popular chum instead whilst you pick up a copy of our brand new brochure.

Register for free here, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Last week, our new Product Specialist Steve Taylor found his place both within the company and at our Kanya stand, for the Northern Manufacturing show – amongst the aluminium samples of course!

Found at Stand D85, Tony and Steve attended the annual exhibition held at EventCity in Manchester, keen to meet both existing and potential customers who would like to use the aluminium profiling system for their next project. Demonstrations using the Kanya build system included our show stand, replica lab car and Kanya Man Goliath, with our TS Guard also available to view.

The exhibition also coincided with the release of two new brochures, “Product Innovations” and   “Systems Profiles base 45mm”. Product Innovations features the latest accessories now available to purchase and Systems Profiles base 45mm features the brand new profile range, the 45mm base extrusion, which has recently been launched. Both brochures are now available online, so download them now here, with printed copies available at the end of October.

So thank you to all those who visited our stand last week, we’ll be getting back to you shortly!
