In the factory in January
After the Christmas shutdown, we’re up and running again in the factory in January with lots of interesting project applications to manufacture and despatch to our clients.
First up, a turntable created for a client in the industrial automation industry. The turntable was designed to be heavy duty to support loads of up to 100kg and therefore, heavy duty Kanya profiles were used to create the hexagonal structure which sits on the floor (see image below)
The next project of worthy mention is a mechanical Lifting Trolley. The trolley, on castors, has roller stoppers to negate the need for lifting items in place. The trolley framework is created from Kanya profiles with cladding material used for the base. To adjust the height of the trolley base for lifting equipment, a hand crank with pump is used (see image above).
Finally, not a Kanya project of sorts, but worth a mention, the Kanya exhibition stand was being constructed this week in the factory. With preparations in full swing, an important mockup of the stand was required prior to the event, the Southern Manufacturing Exhibition. Kanya UK will be exhibiting a whole range of applications at stand A205 in the brand new exhibition hall at Farnborough, from the 6rd to the 8th February 2018.
